Sister Maritia was telling the story of
Abraham Lincoln. She told the children
that Abe lived in a log cabin with dirt floors, and that Abe had to pad down
the dirt with his bare feet to keep the
dust down in the home.
One little one blurted out” Where did
he get BEAR feet?”
Try explaining that to a three year old
literalist!
